Lindsey Tipton is a member of Carson’s Business Team, and has spent nearly nine years helping local businesses navigate legal issues in the greater Fort Wayne area. Lindsey completed her undergraduate education at Indiana University in Bloomington in three years, graduating in 2013 with High Distinction and attaining direct admission into the Indiana University Maurer School of Law where she graduated with her law degree in 2016.
Immediately after law school, Lindsey enthusiastically returned to her hometown of Fort Wayne to practice law. Lindsey has broad experience providing business planning and contract representation to clients in every stage of a business. Lindsey has navigated clients through business formations, dissolutions, and restructuring, construction and manufacturing contracts, estate and succession planning, real estate transactions, and multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions. Lindsey is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana, but regularly negotiates against businesses (and attorneys) across the United States on behalf of her local clients.
Lindsey’s clients view her as a valuable member of their team, and she is known for being good at explaining things that are hard to understand. Although the legal challenges businesses face can be complicated, Lindsey believes her job is to simplify the lives of her clients. Lindsey prioritizes listening, understanding her clients’ priorities, and delivering efficient, practical, and honest advice.
When Lindsey is not working, she can be found training for half marathons, watching Indiana Basketball, or traveling with her husband. Lindsey has a particular passion for hiking in the National Parks. Lindsey also loves to read, bake, garden, and practice yoga. Lindsey serves as the Board Secretary for Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana, Inc., and is a member of the Allen County Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.
