Larry Barnard has been practicing law in Fort Wayne for thirty seven years. Larry earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1987 after completing his B.S. at Indiana University in 1984. Larry focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing businesses, government entities, and insurance companies. With extensive trial court experience in Indiana, he has also handled over 100 appeals, resulting in more than 50 published decisions. His appellate advocacy includes appearances before the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Recognized by Fort Wayne Monthly as a Top Lawyer in Employment Law, Larry has earned a reputation for his expertise in complex litigation matters. He is an active member of the Allen County, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and the Defense Research Institute, where he contributes to the advancement of defense litigation strategies. Larry previously served on the council of the Appellate Practice Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the IU McKinney Law School Alumni Association.
