Jon focuses his practice on transactional and business litigation, representing companies of all sizes in business and corporate law, commercial and intellectual property litigation, contracts, distribution, intellectual property, and products liability. He has served as general counsel for businesses in the service, manufacturing, and distribution industries.

With over 41 years of experience, Jon has litigated in more than 16 states and 11 federal district courts, developing expertise in products liability defense, swimming pool and spa industries by representing manufacturers and distributors nationwide. He represents clients in both state and federal courts, dedicating about 30% of his practice to litigation.

Jon was admitted to practice in Indiana in 1981. Jon also holds bar admissions in multiple U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 5th, 7th and Federal Circuit courts. He earned his J.D. from Drake University Law School and a B.S. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Jon is a member of the Allen County, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations and has served in leadership roles, including President of Orchard Ridge Country Club, President of the local high school hockey association and Board Member for Indiana High School Hockey Associations. He also chaired the Allen County Bar Association’s Grievance Committee.

With a strong foundation in both litigation and corporate law, he provides strategic counsel to businesses navigating complex legal challenges. Jon takes a personal interest in his clients and the businesses that he represents. He makes sure he clearly understands each business and the owners objectives.
