Eliza is a Partner on the Business team at Carson. After graduating from IU Maurer School of Law in 2001, she focused her career on employee benefits in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Indianapolis, Indiana. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses as an adjunct since 2008, including Employment Law, Business Law, and Dispute Resolution, while working in Human Resources Operations. In 2019, she obtained her PhD in Public Administration/Law & Public Policy. In the last four years, she has returned to practicing law where her practice focuses on Employment and Corporate Law for business clients of various sizes. She uses her extensive experience to advise businesses on the different aspects on a variety of agreements and employee benefits issues, all while looking out for the best interest of her clients.

For the last 18 years, Eliza has lived in Indianapolis. Growing up, she lived in a small town of 2,000 in southern Indiana. She and her husband have 2 boys, and she loves her two dogs, a Brittany Spaniel and Golden Retriever.
